What a fun morning for the floral design class! The ladies were taken by Mrs. Benfer and Mr. Gardner to Hobby Lobby in Waco. They were given a task to purchase items to create Christmas themed centerpieces for the annual CISD Faculty Dinner. Each student was given a budget of only $25, and each had a pre-drawn plan to go shopping with. They were able to put some of their design and math skills together, using math to figure in the 50% discount on Christmas items and stopping to make sure all looked well together. Each young lady was able to come in under the budget and came away with lots of goodies (stay tuned to the finished products). Thank you to the Hysaw family for providing lunch for everyone at the Bush’s Chicken!

Santa pics will only be done one day this year. Donations will be accepted, but they are not necessary for a Santa pic, as we want all the students to be able to visit Santa. Photos will be sent home the following week. Merry Christmas from CHS Beta Club!
