We are excited to announce the addition of Samantha Bleything to our Pirate Staff! Mrs. Bleything graduated from Whitney High School and Tarleton State University. Her husband, Weldon, graduated from Crawford High School! She has taught at Whitney ISD and Clifton ISD, and has served in the United States Air Force Reserves for 11 years now. Her and Weldon have two kids (their little boy is not pictured because they are in the middle of adopting him). For fun, she enjoys spending time with family and pets. She also enjoys spending time outdoors camping and hiking. Welcome to Crawford!!

Crawford FFA is at the FFA Convention in Ft Worth! Rylie’s “suitcase” was loaded down for the week! More pictures will be coming soon but when a member has one of those "everything but a suitcase" situations then it has to be shared! We hope all our students and sponsors have a great week!!

⭐ State Star Greenhand Finalist ⭐ The Crawford FFA Chapter is proud to recognize Landry Mabry for being named a Texas FFA State Star Greenhand Finalist! The State Star Greenhand award is one of the highest honors a first-year FFA member can earn, recognizing exceptional achievement in leadership, agricultural education, and a Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE). Landry's SAE focuses on swine production and exhibition, where he has demonstrated an outstanding commitment to animal care, record keeping, financial management, and show ring success. Through countless hours in the barn, dedication to learning, and active involvement in FFA, Landry has distinguished himself as one of the top first-year FFA members in the state of Texas. His selection as a State Star Greenhand Finalist reflects the hard work, determination, and passion he brings to the agricultural industry every day. Landry is one of 4 finalists that will participate in an interview process before the State Winner is announced during the third general session of Texas FFA Convention! Congratulations, Landry!
