Mrs. Fisher was given an opportunity to take some of her Entrepreneurship students yesterday to compete at the Baylor S3E Sports Business Championship which was held at the Hankamer School of Business.  What a great day it was for our students!  They gave presentations on how to increase week day game sales for the Texas Rangers and in between rounds, they were participating in sports trivia and other sales marketing competitions.  Those competing were Mase Edison, Jacob Fulp, Ethan Rodgers, Grant Underwood, Peyton Weems, and Eli Woten. All of the students worked extremely hard preparing and competing all day. There were 51 teams from all classes of schools and private and magnet schools.  A HUGE congratulations to Mase, Jacob, and Grant who all three tied for 4th place individually overall and then their team placed 3rd overall which gave them a total of $1,950.00 which will be split evenly between the 3 of them. A big thank you to Mrs. Walker for helping chaperone!

Congratulations to Mitch Holmes on earning Grand Champion in Skeet Shooting at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Young Guns Shooting Contest! Mitch was also third high overall in the combined Senior Boys Shooting Sports! Awesome job, Mitch!

Congrats to this AWESOME Group of Pirate Musicians!! They competed at the UIL Solo & Ensemble Contest. In the Solo Contest Logan Armstrong is STATE BOUND and received a Division 1! Riley DeLeon and Makenzie Amburgey also received Division 1. Chloe Cunningingham got Division 2 in Solo. The Trumpet Trio received a Division 1 and was comprised of Landon Buro, Rylie DeLeon, and Logan Armstrong.

We are so proud of the UIL students and their performance on Saturday at the Midway Invitational Meet! They came home with the 2nd Place Overall Sweepstakes trophy in Academics after competing against 27 other teams. Our students represented Crawford so well in every way!
