A look back! This was posted in the Waco Tribune on Sept 30, 1928! The school day was 7 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. for the first 3 weeks of school so that the kids could pick cotton in the afternoon. A new football was purchased for the football team and the FFA was organized!

Congratulations to Kate Swain for being 1st in the morning room and 2nd in the afternoon room at the Rio Vista FFA Double Header Speaking Contest.
Kate speaks of the benefits of medicated feed additives in beef cattle. She is hitting the speaking trail to get ready for district and area contests in April.
