Mrs. Maness's students reviewed their five senses, and then used them to do the Pass the Pie Science Investigation! Students were blindfolded and had to try a small piece of pie, then guess what it was using their sense of taste and smell!

Mrs, Byers’s class did a pie tasting today. They tasted apple pie, pumpkin pie, and strawberry cream pie. Their favorite pie was strawberry cream pie!

It's a GREAT day at Crawford Elementary! The day started with the parade which was followed by the Thanksgiving meal!

Recently, Ms. Kohlscheen and her students started reading “A Christmas Carol”. They spent most of last week building background knowledge on the author, why he wrote “ A Christmas Carol” , and the setting. She had students work in small groups to research more about the author, Charles Dickens. Students walked into class this week excited to start reading “ A Christmas Carol.”

Here are two more classes showing off the amazing work they did for the annual Macy's Thanksgiving Parade!

Dart Em Up came out on Friday for the Rocket Math Celebration. Our little Pirates had a great time playing with the nerf blasters!

Our First & Second grade students worked hard to create our annual Crawford Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade! Students read Balloons Over Broadway and learned all about the history of the parade and the original puppeteer behind the giant balloons. Students drafted their plans and went to work to put on this lovely parade for the Crawford Elementary students and staff!
