Juniors & Seniors: The window for Dual Credit Spring Enrollment opens today. Students need to stop by and see Mrs. Allovio to pick up an enrollment form if they want to take any dual credit classes in the spring. The forms are due Oct. 12th.
Thanks to Midway FFA for donating over 100 safety sleeves to Crawford ISD! The sleeves are part of their Blue Heart Project that has benefitted the schools in Midway ISD as well as several small rural districts around Waco. MANY THANKS TO MIDWAY FFA for donating the sleeves to our district! These sleeves are just an extra line of defense to help keep our Pirates safe! What: Spanish Club Butter Braid Fundraiser When: October 1st - 17th (Items arrive October 30th) Why: This fundraiser helps build the Spanish Club fund so that students are able to go on the Meadows Museum Field Trip and to provide other culturally authentic experiences such as celebrations for el día de los muertos. Yes, if the student is going to Spain, they will receive a portion of their sells for the trip! *This is the same product that was sold in the Spring and it back by popular demand! Volleyball Change: Due to some injuries at Abbott, this Friday there will only be 2 VB games played at Crawford. Varsity at 4:30 and JV Gold after. The JV Black will not have a game.

Crawford Independent School District is pleased to introduce a new communications tool called Anonymous Alerts®. The Anonymous Alerts anti-bullying and safety app reporting system helps combat bullying and other negative activity in schools by empowering students to speak up. The system allows for 1-way or 2-way anonymous encrypted communications between submitters (students, parents or community members) and district administration and/or school staff. Users of the system have the option to remain anonymous or reveal their identity when submitting a report. 7th - 12th grade students: Help raise money for Pink Out! October is Cancer Awareness month. Oct. 12th is the VB PINK OUT game. Students can donate $1.00 a day to wear wind pants! No joggers, sweatpants, or athletic shorts. Wind Pants only. Your donation will give you the perk of getting to wear wind pants on certain days. See attachment for a list of the 10 days. Please give your donations to Mrs. Lightfoot. You may pay daily or all at one time. The days begin on Monday, Sept. 24th and end on Tuesday, Oct. 16th. With District VB play kicking off tonight, please be aware that District Vollyball rules (not set by Crawford) raised the ticket prices for this season. Adults will be $4 and students $3 at all district games at all locations.
What a great morning at Crawford Elementary!! Cheerleaders greeted the students as they arrived as well as Pirate Band members! The students also enjoyed the band playing for them as they arrived to kick off Friday Homecoming festivities !!
