WE STAND TOGETHER is the theme for the 2017 Volleyball Pink Out Game! The volleyball team has been committed to donating to cancer research in recent years. This year, however, the Crawford Volleyball Team will stand united with two volleyball families who are currently battling cancer. All funds raised on this special night will be donated to the Rubiela Villa and Ken Norcross families. The Pink Out Game will be held on October 17 vs Blum beginning at 5:00 at the high school gym. Watch for more information on sponsorships and t-shirts to help support Pink Out 2017!
Message from Mrs. Stout: The elementary school does not participate in High School Spirit Days. Elementary students are expected to dress within the dress code (See The Elementary Handbook) in a manner that preserves modesty, displays neatness, does not cause distraction, and avoids safety hazards. Any extremes in appearance that is a distraction or disruption to the normal operations of the school day will not be permitted.
Homecoming mums and garters may be worn to school on Friday, September 15.

Wednesday 9/13 HOMECOMING PARADE - 7 pm; Parade Line Up - 6:30 pm
BLACK OUT Pep Rally and SENIOR Slide Show - 7:30-7:45 pm will follow after the parade in the High School Gym. The Community is invited! Bring your glow sticks! **Important** Doors to the gym will close by 7:50 pm!
Elementary Floats (Elementary Age Groups) will line up around the Elementary school. Follow school drop off procedure and proceed around the back of the school. Line up will begin at the front of the kindergarten pick up line at the corner of W 4th Street. Line up order: First come first serve! **Important** Elementary floats will return back to the front of the elementary school for parents to pick up their child. Floats will enter the front of the school and proceed to the corner of W 4th Street.
High School Floats and Community Entries will line up around the Pirate Baseball field. Follow the road along the High School track towards the Little League concession stand; proceed past the concession stand and make a right passing "The Rock" football practice field. Line up will begin at the corner of "The Rock" behind the outfield fence of the baseball field. Line up order: First come first serve! **IMPORTANT** Drop off of students will be in the High School parking lot. Non parade vehicles will not be allowed to enter line up area!
PARADE ROUTE: Exit HS turning right onto FM 185. Turn right onto Pirate Dr. (Middle school) and proceed to 7th Street; Left on 7th to Main St (FM 317) Left onto Main Street; Left on 4th Street (Old Amsler Bldg.). Proceed down 4th Street. Parade disperses at the Lutheran Church. Elementary floats will return to the front of the Elementary School. High School floats will return to the High School behind the Baseball field.

Are you a junior or senior interested in attending Baylor University? A Baylor admissions counselor will be on campus on Wednesday, September 13. She will meet with students in the library from 9:40-10:00!
LAST DAY to purchase Raffle Tickets for the 2017 Homecoming Football will be next Wednesday! The Junior class is selling the raffle tickets for the 2017 Homecoming Football autographed by the Varsity Pirate football team and coaches! The drawing will be held at halftime of the Homecoming game on Friday September 15th. Tickets are $1.00 each.

* Some college application deadlines are in the early fall of a student's senior year. Do not wait until this time to take the SAT or ACT for the first time.
