Greetings and salutation to all of the Crawford Pirates. I trust you are all fine and healthy. Monday night the board of trustees met and in the open forum session of the meeting the Crawford graduation for the class of 2020 was discussed. What was determined was the graduation of this year would take on the format of a virtual graduation. It would be streamed on the day of on the school's website. The decision to use this format was based on the current rules of social distancing. If those rules change and allow greater flexibility then the discussion was the graduation would take on the normal format in the gym. So we will play the waiting game on that but begin the process of virtual graduation. Prom was also part of the discussion and the district is going to work in conjunction with the junior class parents and have a prom for our students. This obviously will not happen until social distancing rules relax greatly but know we are in the process of trying to formulate a prom. Seniors are asked to fill out the McGregor Mirror Bio form and send them to Mr. Pritchett at mpritchett@crawford-isd.net. You do not have to put the information on the form itself. You may submit a word document with the necessary information that is being requested. I will need to submit these by the beginning of May so the quicker you can submit the better. Thank you in advance. This past week we began a tribute to each one of our seniors via social media. Please check them out on the school website, facebook and twitter and leave them a comment or two.
