Day 2 Afternoon camp- 6th grade- 9th grade. Another awesome afternoon session. Kids are working hard, being energetic and cheering for each other. Today the words of the day were: Being coachable! What a great day to be a Pirate!

Today’s camp day was filled with more basketball skills, kids worn their CRAZY SOCKS, and one camper lost her tooth! Always a great day to be a PIRATE!



Day 1 of Crawford Hoops Camp for 6th -9th graders was a big success today! Campers showed up in their favorite college shirt! What a great day to be a Pirate!

Crawford ISD would like to thank Don Harris for his many years of dedicated service to the district as he is retiring! Mr. Harris spent 49 years in Education, 44 of them here in Crawford. He started out his career in Crawford as a Counselor/ Coach for 3 years. He became Principal of Crawford High School beginning the 1990-1991 school year. 2014 was his last year as Principal. He then went part time for the district as the District Testing Coordinator. He has touched many lives through the years and will be very missed at the school! We wish him lots of fun and a blessed retirement!

Lady Pirates just fell to Stamford in the State Championship game with a score of 5-4.

We held Stamford to no runs in the 7th. Lady Pirates are coming up to bat in the bottom of the last inning trailing 5-4.

Going into the top of the 7th.. Lady Pirates are trailing 5-4.


Going into the bottom of the 6th.. Lady Pirates are coming up to bat trailing 5-4. Go Crawford!!!

Headed into the top of the 6th.. Crawford added one more run to the board.. Lady Pirates leading 4-1!
