Crawford FFA members had the privilege of meeting and learning from three Texas State FFA Officers this morning! Fifty Crawford students dug into the importance of Agriculture in each of our lives, and the opportunities that FFA and the world of Agriculture have to offer them. They played games, competed, worked together and learned a thing or two while they were at it. Thank you Texas FFA Officers for coming to Crawford!

The dual credit payment deadline for the Spring semester is Wednesday, January 3rd by 5pm. Payment can be made through webadvisor or by logging into the parent side of the MCC Portal at: gateway.mclennan.edu.
The McLennan Community College Foundation is currently accepting applications for the 2024-25 academic year at Home Page (awardspring.com). Deadline to apply is midnight Jan. 15, 2024.
The MCC Foundation manages more than 400 scholarship funds and makes awards based on merit, need, academic major, high school, employer, and many more criteria. The Foundation awarded a record-breaking $712,749.59 in student scholarships for the 2023-24 academic year. This is the highest amount awarded to students in the Foundation’s 33-year history.
Instructions for applying:
1. This application is for the 2024-2025 academic year (which begins August 2024).
2. For the best user experience, use Chrome or Firefox.
3. Go to Home Page (awardspring.com) to access the Foundation website.
4. Click the yellow button “Sign in with Your School Account”.
5. Sign in using your initials and your seven digit MCC ID number (i.e., xx0000000) and password. If you do not have an MCC ID number, go to http://www.mclennan.edu/admissions/become-a-student to apply to MCC. You should receive your ID number within 3-5 business days after this step is complete and then you will be able to complete the scholarship application.
6. After you have completed the initial application, a checklist will appear on your dashboard for scholarship opportunities that require additional information. If you feel that you meet the qualifications, answer the required questions and click the “Submit” button. Please note that by completing and submitting the general application, you will be considered for most scholarships.
7. Notifications of scholarship awards will be sent beginning the week of March 14, 2024. Notifications will be sent to MCC STUDENT EMAIL ADDRESSES and are time sensitive. If you are offered a scholarship, you will have five business days to accept it.

High School boys & girls both play at home tomorrow night with tip off on first game at 4 p.m. Just a reminder... with a season pass you will be able to watch all home Basketball games online this season! Go to: fan.hudl.com and search for Crawford High School. The game will show up on the right side of the page once it starts streaming (close to game time). Either click on Create Account at the top right hand side of the page or click on the game stream and it will have you create the account to access.
This is the last week to donate toys! Toy Drive ends on Thursday at noon.
