It’s Holocaust Remembrance Week in Texas and Crawford Elementary has been busy learning about the events that took place during the Holocaust. Crawford 4th and 5th grade students and teachers participated in a Zoom presentation with the Dallas Holocaust and Human Rights Museum. The presentation was titled, "What is an Upstander." The students learned what it meant to be a Upstander and reflect on the impact bystander behavior through examples in Holocaust History.

Day two of Crawford’s College Week did not disappoint! Baylor, Texas A&M, and East Texas A&M (formally Texas A&M Commerce) visited with our students and provided some great information! Don’t forget to wear your college shirt tomorrow!
Mrs. Westerfield's 7th graders have spent the last few weeks learning about the different body systems. Today they applied their knowledge by identifying organs and describing each system as they dissected frogs.

Today is the 100th day of school for these Kindergartners! They are feeling a little old today but are enjoying every minute!
A very special group of students were recognized tonight at the school board meeting! The elementary Character Heroes were recognized this evening. These students go above and beyond to ensure their peers are met with kindness and respect! We are so proud of these little Pirates!
College Week at Crawford High School is off to a great start! Juniors and Seniors listened to campus representatives from Tarleton and UMHB today!
Congratulations to Crawford High School's Fishing Team! Brant McIlhaney and Fisher Tindell have been tearing it up on the Central Texas High School Fishing Tournament Trail! They won the Winter Classic this week at Stillhouse Hollow with a total of 18.42 pounds! These boys have been placing in the top end of each tournament so far this season with a few top 5 spots before this weekend's first place finish! They have two more tournaments this spring before the championship tournament in May. If you see them around - give them a congratulations and wish them luck as they finish the season!

Good luck to the Rotary Trivia Team who is competing today at McLennan Community College to defend their championship title against area schools of all classes. The team is composed of Grant Underwood, Ava Johnson, Ethan Rodgers, Eli Woten, and Lakes DeChaume and sponsored by Mrs. Fisher. Episodes and results will be aired on KXXV Channel 25 later in the Spring.
Black team will still play at Rapoport tonight at 6:30.
Mrs. Fisher’s Business Management students went on the annual Dallas Cowboy’s AT&T Stadium Field Trip today and had a great time! The day started with kolaches in West, then a guided and very informative tour of the stadium ending with some fun field access time, and then a final stop for lunch at Chick-fil-A…A big thank you to Coach Buie for driving the bus, and to Mrs. Buie and Mrs. Harrison for helping chaperone.
